All right, eye protection, very important. These are the Oakley M Frame Alpha's. Here's what you get in the kit. You get your frame and lens and you get a replacement lens. In that same kit, you have a clear and dark, you also get a microfiber storage bag. And with that comes some anti fog drops. These are virtually useless. If you want anti-fog stuff, just pull the glasses away from your face and let 'em ventilate. They also come with a brain strap. If you need this, then install it. Most of you probably don't. So when you wanna replace your lenses, it's a pretty quick exchange. They come install with the dark lenses on 'em. I usually tend to just run clear lenses when I'm running eye protection. So over here on the left temple, there's a little tab that you push down to the bottom of it, it pops open. Once you pop that open, you just pull towards that tab and then out and everything comes out. You can see there's kind of a weird geometry and that the only way that you can pull these out is if you pull 'em to the right to install. You get this locking tab on the far left side and you install it over on your right temple.
And ensure up top is also fitted in. And then down here, you just wanna make sure that your lens is going over this locking tab and then you lock it in place and you're good to go. If you got some fingerprints on it, take your towel, wipe 'em off. These lenses and frames are rated at the mill PRF 32-43-2 Alpha Standard, uh, that automatically encompasses the Ansi standard that you might already be familiar with with most ballistic eyewear. Um, something to look for when companies market their eye protection is that it has that standard list underneath. If they have that and the Ansi standard, it doesn't really mean anything because that mill standard already encompasses the Ansi standard. These have a higher brow, so looking through something like an ACOG or uh, a magnified optic and you're down in the prone position, you do get a little bit better field of view vertically.
