The Trijicon VCOG takes inspiration from the undying durability of the ACOG and applies that to a variable power optic, allowing for more versatility and a wider range of features. One of the defining features of the VCOG is its integral mount. This mount style eliminates the need for separate mounts, scope leveling, and everything else needed to perform that task properly, making the VCOG ready to go right out of the box.
This model features a standard MIL reticle, allowing users to easily make range holds based on their rifle setup and DOPE without worrying about BDCs set up for a specific barrel length, with certain ammunition, at a certain velocity. The VCOG 1-6 is powered by a single AA battery mounted at the 6 o’clock position and has 6 brightness settings, with 700 hours of continuous use at setting 4.
