The AC1.5 is an updated, refined version of our original AC1, with a few upgrades that make it more robust as an overt plate carrier. It uses our MOLLE Row Placard Interface, allowing a secure hardware-free attachment of select placards and front panels. It also has an improved method for attaching wings so that they aren’t disturbed when you are donning and doffing your carrier. We swapped to a superior tweave lining fabric, angled the shoulder straps, and added thicker padding to make heavier loadouts more comfortable to carry.
Most notable is the substantial difference in the new cummerbund design compared to the AC1 cummerbund. We chose a nicer, taller elastic, adjusted the cell sizes to better fit pistol, 5.56, and 7.62 mags and not overlap other gear in wing pouches, and added pull tab retainment. Additionally, the largest cell is flipped upside-down from the other two cells, and the whole thing is completely reversible. This allows you to easily access whatever items you stow in the cells that sit furthest back and allows you to choose whether you want it have small cells or large cells inverted in the back.

AC1.5 FEATURES
- 500D Cordura construction.
- Tweave inner lining for comfort and breathability.
- The dedicated wing flap allows for the use of radios or other wing-style attachments without interfering with the cummerbund hook/loop interface.
- MOLLE Row Placard Interface allows for the use of specific placards without hardware, maintaining security while reducing bulk.

AC1.5 CUMMERBUND FEATURES
- Constructed from 5″ tall elastic for added stability and comfort.
- Each cummerbund features three cells in varying sizes. (See graphic below.)
- Fully reversible, allowing you to run the large cell in the front with two cells inverted.
- Internal body side pull tabs reduce hotspots and discomfort.
- Front and middle pockets have been optimized to better fit pistols mags (front) and 5.56 PMAGs (middle).

PLACARD COMPATIBILITY
The AC1.5 and AC0 utilize what we call the MOLLE Row Placard Interface. This is a row of 3/4″ webbing that sits directly above the front loop field of the plate carrier. It allows you to weave certain placards through the webbing and onto the loop field, making for an extremely secure attachment with no hardware needed.
This system is very similar to older Crye Placards but is lower profile and far less proprietary since it uses standard MOLLE spacing.

AC1.5 or AC0
The AC0 is the stripped-down version of the 1.5 with concealability and economy in mind. It features a completely slick appearance with no ID panels and no Swift Clip/QASM/G-Hook compatibility. It comes with basic non-padded shoulder sleeves and a single-band cummerbund with no pouches. The AC0 also drops the integrated wing flap, but it does retain the MOLLE Row Placard Interface.
