Video | What’s Included | Plate Sizing | Specs | Placard Compatability | AC1.5 vs AC0 | Pictures

The AC0 is a simplified version of the AC1.5 tailored more towards a concealment role. The deleted Swift Clip/QASM loops and ID panels provide a slick appearance that better blends into everyday clothing, while the single-band 5″ elastic cummerbund eliminates bulk and maintains comfort and stability.

This simplified construction also makes the AC0 a more economical option for those who may not want or need the features and capabilities of the 1.5. The AC0 uses our new MOLLE Row Placard Interface, making it compatible with our placards and a few others from different manufacturers, allowing for some level of scalability even with this slick, low-vis oriented carrier.

Plate carrier sizing is based on the plate, not the individual. Please confirm your plate size and refer to the Sizing Chart below before purchasing a carrier.

PLACARD COMPATIBILITY

The AC0 and AC1.5 utilize what we call the MOLLE Row Placard Interface. This is a row of 3/4″ webbing that sits directly above the front loop field of the plate carrier. It allows you to weave certain placards through the webbing and onto the loop field, making for an extremely secure attachment with no hardware needed.

This system is very similar to older Crye Placards but is lower profile and far less proprietary since it uses standard MOLLE spacing.

COMPATIBLE PLACARDS

  • MOLLE Row Placard Interface Pattern.
We’ve currently got two options tailored for this system. These will obviously be the most streamlined options.
  • Adjustable Placards That Use One-Wrap Straps.
These pouches work fine but can tend to sag in the middle with heavier loads since there aren’t middle supports
  • Crye Pattern Placards
These style placards also work, but they tend to bunch up in the middle due to incorrect proprietary spacing. It’s not ideal, but it’s still usable.
    • Haley TRMP For Crye
    • Various Other Crye Pattern Placards
The MOLLE Row Placard interface only shares MOLLE spacing; it is not compatible with traditional MOLLE webbing placards or pouches.

AC1.5 or AC0

AC0 or AC1.5? What’s the difference?
Good question. The AC0 is the stripped-down version of the 1.5 with concealability and economy in mind. It features a completely slick appearance with no ID panels and no Swift Clip compatibility. It comes with basic non-padded shoulder sleeves and a single-band cummerbund with no pouches. The AC0 also drops the integrated wing flap, but it does retain the MOLLE Row Placard Interface.

The AC1.5 is a direct upgrade from the AC1 and has a more “overt” feature set. This includes an integrated wing flap, heavier shoulder pads, front and rear ID panels, and a more advanced cummerbund with pull tabs. See the chart below for a simple comparison.
