The SFA2 combines the classic aesthetics of the A2 birdcage and the suppressor mount capability of other SureFire devices. The SFA2 is also very compact compared to the traditional SureFire devices, making these great for rifles that don’t need that extra length for a pin and weld.
Will the 5.56 device fit a 7.62 suppressor?
Yes. The 5.56 devices fit both 556-RC2s and 762-RC2s and work great on most 5.56 rifles. 7.62 muzzle devices will not accept the 5.56 suppressors (for obvious reasons). So there is no chance of damaging your suppressor by using it on the wrong gun.
