The TLR-7 HL-X sub is a slightly scaled-down version of the TLR-7 HL-X meant for slimline and micro pistols. It carries over many of the benefits of the TLR-7, such as industry-leading switching and a convenient front-loading battery. The HL-X is the newest model, featuring a nice performance increase of 1,000 lumens and 10,000 candela, making this compact light punch far above its weight class.

- Multi-fuel capable. Uses 1x Streamlight rechargeable SL-B9 or 1x CR123A.
- Rail clamp system securely attaches/detaches quickly and safely with no tools and without putting your hands in front of the muzzle.
- Safe-off feature prevents accidental activation and saves batteries.

- Ambidextrous rear paddle switches with HIGH and LOW.
- User-enabled strobe function.
- Programmable to run at 500 lumens on an SL-B9, if desired (this increases the run time from 30 to 60 minutes)
