As awesome as pistol optics are, like everything electronic, they can fail. The battery can die. The optic could get damaged. We believe it’s important to have a backup sighting solution when able. Suppressor-height sights are the ticket. Available here are two versions: The GL-429 which has a blacked-out rear and front sight, and the GL-511 which has a red front sight post.
If you’re using these irons as a backup to a pistol-mounted optic, we recommend the all-blacked-out, GL-429 so there isn’t a red front sight post competing for visual attention with the red dot of your optic.
If you’re using these irons for shooting with a suppressed Glock with no optic, we recommend the GL-511, as the high-vis orange front sight makes front sight/hard target focus much easier.
