The Garmin Fenix 7 is a great way to get into one of Garmin’s high-end watches without breaking the bank. Although the Fenix 7 lacks some of the features of the new Fenix 8, it still offers a wide range of capabilities, including exceptional health monitoring sensors, multi-GNSS support, detailed offline maps with turn-by-turn routing, and a 3-axis compass.
If you don’t need the Fenix 8’s advanced dive computer, won’t use the fancy speaker and microphone, and prefer the power-efficient MIP display to the new OLED version, the Fenix 7 is an incredibly tough smartwatch that offers a lot of value at a lower price point.
