Whether you’re competing and need the advantage of additional capacity or you just want a few extra rounds in your spare carry mag, baseplates are a great way to extend your standard capacity magazines. The Henning Group Mag Extension comes with an extended spring to ensure reliability and extend Glock 17 mags to a maximum of 23 rounds, though we recommend loading them to 22 for consistency. When paired with an OEM Glock 17 Magazine, these mag extensions are USPSA Legal for Carry Optics, Limited Optics, Limited, and Open.

SPECS

FEATURES

  • USPSA Legal for Carry Optics, Limited Optics, Limited, and Open
  • Takes 9mm Glock 17/34 magazines from 17 rounds to 23 rounds (22 recommended) with extended spring
  • Takes 9mm Glock 31 round and 33 round magazines to 37 rounds with factory spring

Made in USA.

When loaded to full capacity, these mags are hard to seat on a closed slide because of increased spring tension. This is common with most magazine baseplate extensions. Once the magazine springs are worn-in the 23rd round becomes more feasible.

For consistent reloads, we highly recommend down-loading from 23 to 22 rounds, especially for EDC use.

In a competition setting, you can load one mag all the way up to stage your gun, leaving you with a full 22+1 capacity.
